Featured this month is the captivating work of local oil painter Vicki Shuck. Vicki is known for celebrating the human condition and focusing on the subtleties of life. She believes that inspiration can be found everywhere - as each moment is unique and comprised of its own textures, colors and sounds. She finds joy in isolating those moments and expressing them through her paintings and drawings.
Vicki is fascinated with the fact that each day is filled with someone's cares and joys - directly influencing the happenings around them. With this perspective, she brilliantly captures the fleeting details of daily experiences endlessly passing us by.
