Edie Shelton found Sisters by coming to the world reowned Sisters Quilt Show where she did her first love of quilting and realized she wanted to not just visit, but live in the town of Sisters.  Edie moved to Sisters and began her journey as a self taught fused glass artist.  She finds her inspiration originates from the intrinsic beauty of the near by mountains and scenery.  Edie finds that much of designs and motivation comes from the winter scenery in Sisters Country and the amazing natural flowers and color in the early summer.  Edie's Christmas ornaments and sun catchers shaped as mountains are her favorite smaller pieces that she does, but has taken on a new flair and incorporated sunflowers and wild flowers into much of her larger pieces.  Her passion for fussed glass can be seen in all her works such as platters, plates, hanging wall art and plant sticks.
